Opportunities to Volunteer

There are many ways to volunteer at camp each year. Right now for 2026 we are looking for counselors, teachers, and kitchen help.

During the lecture and discussion hours, we request that only adults beyond high school age volunteer.

New Kitchen Volunteer Positions for 2026 - The basic need is listed, individuals interested in positions can be given more details upon request.

1. Lodge (upstairs): Coffee brought up each morning; Coffee area kept organized & refilled; Water Cooler filled Monday afternoon & each morning; Snacks put out for break time after lectures. 

2. Lodge Breakfast (downstairs): Set our "breakfast bar" & other supplies each morning about 7am (using a check list). After breakfast ends, help clean & put away what's necessary; make a list of what is needing refilled for the next morning. There is a delivery person getting the main dish from the pavilion & will take back left-overs & the "need" list.

3. Pavilion Mornings Coffee & Tea Corner: Make coffee about 6:15-6:30am & heat water in percolator. Refill as needed: tea bags, sugars, creamers, honey, stirrers, cups, etc

4. Pavilion Lemonade & Water Coolers: Fill a large cooler of each as needed. Monday late afternoon fill one of water. Tuesday before lunch fill another with lemonade. Water cooler kept full all day; Lemonade filled before Lunch, Supper, & Campfire Tues-Fri.

5. Pavilion Breakfast: (7am-8:30am): Set out "breakfast bar" (using a check list) about 7am; help prep foods (i.e. cut apples); replenish items as needed during breakfast; help put items away & prep for following (i.e. refill yogurt bowl).

6. Lunch Salad Bar: (Using a Check list) Set out salad bar about 11:30-11:45am, refill food items as needed through serving lunch, put away Salad bar. Prepping for Salad bar - time designated for prepping food items - will be determined along with the Supper Salad Bar volunteer & the Kitchen Coordinator sometime before camp.

7. Supper Salad Bar: (Using a Check list) Set out salad bar about 4:30-4:45pm, refill food items as needed through serving supper, put away Salad bar. Prepping for Salad bar - time designated for prepping food items - will be determined along with the Lunch Salad Bar volunteer & the Kitchen Coordinator sometime before camp.

It is difficult to explain the salad bar prep time (cutting veggies & fruit), it can be flexible or it can be tag-teamed - It will be best to have a meeting with the volunteers to make a prepping game plan rather than list pre-determined times at this point.

Below are charts indicating where and when daily volunteers are needed. You can cross check this with the schedule to help you determine which positions you would be best able to help with. The actual sign-up sheet will be available at check-in and other times during camp.
